Porsche has presented a completely revised concept of the new Cayenne. The new Porsche Driver Experience, presented for the first time in the Porsche Taycan, focuses on the driver and optimizes performance. The functions that the driver uses most often are located directly above the steering wheel or directly next to the steering wheel. For example, the lever behind the steering wheel now has the additional function of controlling driver assistance systems.
The automatic transmission selector lever in the new Cayenne is now located on the instrument panel. This leaves space in the new center console for storage compartments and a large air conditioning controller in a sleek black panel design. For the first time, the redesigned Cayenne cabin features a fully digital 12.6-inch cluster with a so-called curved and independent design with variable display options. An optimized head-up display is fitted as standard. The standard 12.3-inch central Porsche Communication Management (PCM) display is integrated into the new dashboard and provides access to all relevant vehicle functions. The new Cayenne provides native applications such as Spotify® and Apple Music® to optimize connectivity with compatible phones.

An optional 10.9-inch display is now available to passengers for the first time. This enriches the front passenger experience by displaying performance information and providing separate access to the management information system. With two high-quality modules and more than 32,000 pixels per light, the innovative technology selects other users and blocks the light beam for them with pixel precision so as not to dazzle them. The driving experience can be further enhanced with the new adaptive air suspension with 2 cam, 2 valve technology. At the same time, the adaptive air suspension improves driving precision and performance and reduces body movement in dynamic driving situations. The suspension also offers an even sharper difference between Normal, Sport and Sport Plus drive modes.
In Australia, the new Cayenne will debut with three different engine versions. A major upgrade to the four-liter V8 biturbo engine developed by Porsche replaces the previous V6 engine in the new Cayenne S. With a maximum output of 349 kW (474 PS #) and a torque of 600 Nm – 25 kW (34 PS) and 50 Nm more than its predecessor – both the SUV and the SUV Coupé accelerate to 100 km / h in 4.7. seconds and Sports Chrono Package, which is optional on the SUV and standard on the SUV Coupe.
