“ESCALADE IQ raises the bar just as the original Escalade redefined luxury a quarter-century ago,” said John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac. “This reimagining of the badge marks the next step in Cadillac’s all-electric future.”
“For more than 120 years, Cadillac’s bold, innovative spirit has defined American luxury,” said Roth. “ESCALADE IQ embodies this spirit in its most refined form.”
The ESCALADE IQ was intended to be the most comfortable and maneuverable Escalade yet, and the collaboration between Cadillac Engineering and Design ensured that the production model stayed true to that goal.

It is Cadillac’s first full-size SUV built on GM’s innovative, modular electric vehicle architecture, the Ultium platform, and features GM’s Ultifi software platform to support and provide continuous software updates for its technologies expansive
Its specialized electric vehicle architecture delivers the bold design and performance characteristics of ESCALADE IQ, from its sharp silhouette and generous passenger and cargo space to its driving performance.
“ESCALADE IQ is, first and foremost, a Cadillac that delivers on the promise of innovative design backed by vibrant performance and cutting-edge technology,” said Jamie Brewer, Executive Chief Engineer, ESCALADE IQ. “The EV’s specific architecture allows us to deliver a driving experience consistent with Cadillac’s philosophy of isolated precision: quiet, smooth and effortless with a strong connection to the road for traction.”
On the performance front, the ESCALADE IQ features independent front and rear suspension, sending power to 24-inch wheels with 35-inch tires via front- and rear-wheel drive motors that work together as an eAWD system.

A suite of fully integrated advanced technologies, including Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Adaptive Air Suspension, isolates occupants from unwanted road surfaces while delivering precise handling and feel.
An adaptive air suspension system lowers the vehicle 2 inches (50 mm) and raises it 1 inch (25 mm), while optional features such as standard four-wheel steering, Cadillac arrival mode are available.
The four-wheel steering system reduces the turning radius to just 39.4 feet (12 meters) at low speeds and reduces the turning diameter by more than 6.5 feet for greater maneuverability in parking lots and a radius of tighter overall spin. It also improves handling and stability at higher speeds, especially when towing.
Is a unique four-wheel steering feature that allows the ESCALADE IQ to move diagonally, making it easier to get in or out of tight spaces while making a statement.

Low Ride mode allows the ESCALADE IQ to ride at low speeds with the suspension fully lowered.
A 24-module Ultium battery powers the ESCALADE IQ, producing more than 200 kWh of available energy. It also uses a flexible high-voltage architecture that provides 800-volt DC fast charging, the fastest form of charging available today, providing up to 100 miles of range in 10 minutes of charging.
The ESCALADE IQ will be equipped with two-way Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) charging technology with GM Energy’s available Ultium Home products, giving customers the ability to send power directly from the vehicle to an appropriately equipped home. This capability will be enabled through an over-the-air software update for the 2025 model year. The ESCALADE IQ will also offer vehicle-to-load (V2L) off-board power capability, which will allow the vehicle to power external devices.
The ESCALADE IQ uses an Ultium battery as part of the fundamental chassis design. This allows the battery pack to give the car an impressive Cadillac-rated range of 460 miles

To allow customers to feel more connected to their unit. In addition, Ultium Energy Recovery, an innovative heat pump thermal system, allows energy to be transferred between the battery/power electronics and the cabin, using all possible watts to optimize range and minimize energy the high voltage battery used for the five zone system. climate control
. Super Cruise is the industry’s first hands-free driver assistance technology, allowing drivers to travel hands-free on more than 400,000 miles of compatible roads in the United States and Canada.

When Super Cruise is activated, accurate data from the vehicle’s LiDAR map, real-time cameras, radar and GPS allow the vehicle to navigate its lane, enabling hands-free driving. These systems work together through “sensor fusion” to create a sensory field around the vehicle that helps keep it centered in the lane while increasing driver comfort and convenience.
Super Cruise accelerates or brakes the vehicle to maintain a selected distance from the vehicle in front and turns to maintain the lane. In addition, Super Cruise can perform driver- and system-initiated lane changes to pass slower traffic and exit a lane that may be ending, while monitoring the driver’s head and/or eye position relative to the road to help him pay attention.
“Escalade has always strived to be bold, so we strive to achieve that,” said Mandi Daman, Chief Engineer of ESCALADE IQ. “ESCALADE IQ is what you get when you follow your soul, not the crowd.”
The design of the ESCALADE IQ reflects the bold presence of its predecessors, but its EV-specific architecture provided the design team with a clean approach to its styling. The result is a reimagined yet familiar Escalade that makes an uncompromising statement.

The electric architecture provides a sleeker profile, but with a silhouette that is instantly recognizable as an Escalade. It also allows for a lower and flatter cabin floor, which contributes to the exceptional spaciousness of the ESCALADE IQ.
“Our intent for the ESCALADE IQ was to reinforce the Escalade’s DNA with a distinct premium profile and heroic stance while complementing the Cadillac EV interior. With a 55-inch display and second row of seats executives available, ESCALADE IQ is another proud expression of Cadillac’s intelligent integration of cutting-edge innovation, said Brian Nesbitt, executive director of Global Cadillac Design.
The new ESCALADE IQ design moves the wheels further into the corners for a more powerful look and a more planted stance. The proportions speak of its presence and scale. From the long, dynamic hood to the more sloping roofline at the rear, everything contributes to a sportier aesthetic.
In addition to its bold design, the ESCALADE IQ’s sleeker profile pays dividends on the highway, as it’s the most aerodynamic full-size SUV GM has ever produced, with 15 percent less drag than previous generations.

Range Cadillac’s aerodynamicists have also worked on small details to achieve major aerodynamic improvements, such as the sharp trailing edge of Cadillac’s iconic taillights, the smooth underbody, the intelligent grille slats that block airflow when it is not necessary, and even the shape and profile of the wheels.
Much of the ESCALADE IQ’s refinement comes from carefully and beautifully sculpted surfaces. The design team sought to create a dynamic balance between definition and curvature. The side profile of the ESCALADE IQ features flush side glass and a large glass roof that creates the appearance of seamless body lines.
“We added more sculpture to every surface,” said Javuk Koo, director of design for Cadillac Exteriors. “It looks simple, but you see the graceful transition of each surface along with the strong lines of the gestural body. That kind of attention to detail makes it stand out.”
The intelligent integration of lighting reinforces the clear design of the ESCALADE IQ, helping to deepen the connection between the customer and their vehicle. ESCALADE IQ features strong vertical light both day and night, with tall front bulbs and vertically oriented high/low beams. The spectacular light choreography on both approach and exit demonstrates the technical prowess of Cadillac design and also creates a unique rhythm: a symphony of dynamic light with an impressive chorus of LEDs.

In line with other vehicles in the Cadillac portfolio, the ESCALADE IQ is distinguished by two personalities: Luxury and Sport. This trim strategy allows the customer to choose a vehicle that matches their personality and preferences. Each has a different look, including a brushed aluminum metallic finish on areas like the wheels and exterior moldings on the Luxury, and a dark metallic finish on the Sport.
Customers can also opt for a striking two-tone exterior by choosing the available black-painted roof, a striking visual contrast to the six body colors in addition to black.
